IN exereise: of the powers conferred by subsection (3) of section iO

of the Dange rous Drugs Ordinance , the Ministe r for Social Policy has

made the following order: -

l. This order may be ci ted as the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance

(First Schedule) (Amendment ) Order, 1990 and shall be read and

const rued as onc with the First Schedule to the Dangerous Drugs

Ordi nance, he reinafter referred to as " th e Schedule ~,

Part III of the Schedule shall be amended as follows

(a) paragraphs 3, 4, 5 , 6 and 7 thereorshall be renumbered 4,

5,6,7 and 8 respectively;

(b) immediate ly afte r paragraph 2 thereof there shall be

irlse rt ed the followirlg new p;!ragraph:-

"3, Preparat ions for ora l use containing nOI more Ihan 135

milli grams of dexlTopropoxypherle base per dosage unit or with a

conce ntra tion of not more than 2.5 per cent in undivided

preparations. provided that such preparations do not contai n any

substance contained in the Third Schedule to th e Medical and

Kindred Professions Ordinance. "; and
