IN exercise of the powen conferred by section J of the S llpplies and

Serviru Act , the Ministerfor Developmen t of Te rtiary Sec1or has made

the following rc:gulations:-

I. (I) These regulations ma y he cited as the Importation Cit2lioot

(Comrol) (A mendme nt) Regula tions, 1990. and shall be read and ;:';... __ .M

construed as onc with the Importation (Control) Regulations, 1969, t...!'U8ofl!lll\l.

(2) Subparagraphs (a), (b) and (e) of regulation 2 of these

regulations sha ll be dee med 10 have come inlO fortt on the 1st January,

1990.

The Schedule to the principal regulatio ns shall be amended as

follows

(a) in the English text thereof. for the figure -32.03"

appearing in the Harmonised Syslem Code No. col um n, t he re shall

he substitu ted the figure -32.(l.r ;

(b) in the Engl ish text thereof, im mediately before item

04 as renumbered , the re shall be inserted the following: -
