(Death and DooaUon Duly) Exemption Onler, 1990

BY virtue of the powers vested in him by subsection (2) of section 9

of the Death and Donation Duty Act , the Minister of Finance has

ordered that no interest, otherwise chargeable under the provisions of

the said Act, shall be levied on the duty payable in respect of any refund

of sa lary and OIher payments made post humously in respect of deceased

persons consequent to proceedings in tenns of regulation 23 A of The

Public$crvice Commission (D isciplinary Procedure) Regulations. 19n;

and thal lhis e~emption shall have retrospective effect as nece ~sary.
