Tobacco and Tobacco Products (A mendment) Regulations, 1990

IN e;tercise of the powe rsoonfcrred by section 7 of the Tobacooand

Tobacco Products Act, 1978, the Ministe r of Finance has made the

following regulations:-

(I) These regulations may be ciled as the Tobacco and

Tobacco Products (Amendment) Regula tio ns, 1990 and shall be read

and cons trued as o nc with the Tohacco and Tobacco Products

Regulations, 1978 , hereinaf!cr referred to as "tbe principal

regulati ons" .

(2) These regulations sball come into force on th e 1st

january, 1991.

2, For paragraph 2 of the principal regulations there shall be

subst itu ted the following:-

"2, There shall be paid to tbe Comptroller of Custo ms, in

respect of the issue or renewal of a licence under section 3 of the ACt, a

fee o f fifty Maltese liri (LmSO) per annum , .. ,
