MA CHINE-J\.IADE C IGARETTES (EXCISE DUTY) ACT

(CAP. 57)

Machine-Made Clgarelles (Licence FteS ) Regulations, 1990

IN e~ercisc of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Machine·

Made Cigarettes (E~cise Dut y) Act, the Minister of Finance has made

tile following regulations: -

I. (I) Tiles<: regulations may be citcd as the Machin e- Made

Cigarettes ( Licence Fel's) Rl'gula tion s , 1990.

(2) 'llIesc regulations shall oome int o forel' on the 1st

of tile issul' or renewal of a licence under section 7 of the Machine-Made

Cigarettes (Excise Duty) Act, a fee of onc hundred maltes<: liri ( Lm 100)

per annum.
