IN e xercise o f the powers conferred by sections 16 and 17 of the

PO" Worke rs Ordinance. tne Ministe r for Deve lopment o f Tcrtiu ry

Sector has made the following regll lat ions:-

I. (I ) These regulations may be cited as the Port Wo rkers

(Ame ndme nt) (No. 2) Regulation s. 1990. a nd shall be read bnd

construed as o nc with th e Port Workers Regulat io ns. 1966, Ilcreinaft er

referred to as "th e prioci pa l rcglllationsM .

(2) Th ese regulat io ns shall be dee med to have come in to

force on the 1st Jimuary. 1?9(),
