Regulations (Amendment) O rde r. 1990. and the amendments affected

thereby shaH be read and co nstrued as one wit h the Mo tor Ve hicles

(Tariff of Fares) Regul atio ns, 1982, hereinafte r referred 10 as "the L.N. 1 ~

principal regulations".

Immediately afte r regul ation 2 of the principal regul ations

there sha ll be added the following ne .... regula tion

M3. In these regulations. unless the context otherwise

requ ires. any reference to the Gene ral Seeretary of the

Central Office for Scheduled Bus Se ..... iCC$ shall include. to

the ex tent of the authority given. any office r of the Central

Office for Scheduled Bw; ServICeS duly authorised by it for

that purpose.

to the pri ncipal regulations shall be amended as follo .... s

(a) in subparagraphs ( I) and (2) of each one of paragraphs J ,-~

prcccdi ng paragraphs.";

(d) in pa ragrap h 12 thereof, for the words "of the

Commissioner of Police" {here shall be substitut ed the words "of

the Public T ransport AuthorityM; and

(e) in paragraph I3 lhereof. for the words Missued and signed

by the Superintendent or by the Inspector of Police, GOla" there

sha ll be substituted the words "issued by the Pub lic Transport

Authority" ,
