IN exe rcise o f the powers conferred by section 28 of the Public

Transport Au thori ty Act , 1989, the Prime Mi nister has made the

following order: -

I. Thi5 orde r may be ci led as Ihe " ublk Tra nspon ( Regulation of

Employment) Act (Am endm en t) Order. 1990, and the amend ments

affected thereby 5ha1l be read s nd construed as one wi th the Public

Transport ( Regulation of Employment) Act. herei nafter referred to as

"the Act".

For subsection (4) o f sect ion J of tile Act there shall be

substitu ted Ihe followin g:-

"(4) All deci sio ns of the Boa rd shall be by a majori ty of votes

of all members.··.

In paragraph (c) o f subsection (I) of section 5 of the Act. for

the words Mby the secretaI)' o f the Board·· there shall be substitufed the

words '"by the chairma n o f the Board ··.
