IN exercise of the powers co nferred by sections 3 and 4 of the

(}Qve m ment Lotteries Act, 1981, the Ministe r of Finance has made the

fo llowing regul ations:-

I. ( I) These regulations may be cited as the Government

Lotle ries (S uper Five) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regu lations. 1990, Hnd

shall be read and construed as one with the (}Qvemme nt Lotleries

(Super Five) Regula tions, 1990. hereina ft er refe rred toilS ~theprincipal

rcgulations~ ,

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

fo rce on the Slh August, 1990, with regard to tickets sold fo r the lottery

draw of the 14th August. 1990 and to subseque nt draws,

Paragraph (I) of regu lat ion S of the principal regulations shall

be ame nded as follows:-

(a) for the words ~or the prize fund." there shall be inserted

the words ~of the prize fun<l :~: a nd

(b) immediately at the end of the paragraph there shall be

inse rted the following proviso

" Provided that if in any wee k the Division I prize fu nd

does not e xceed LmlO,OOO. the difference between the

ellsi ting Division I prize fu nd for tha t week and the sum o f

LmlO,OOO shall be paid out by the Department from its own

funds,-,
