IN vi nue of subsection (2) of section 1 of the Employment and

Training ~rvices Act. 1990. the Acting Minister for Social Policy has

appoimed the 71h day of August. ]990. as the date on which the

provisio ns of the said Act. o ther th3n the provisions of sections] 110 is

(both incl usive). and sections 23 to ZS (both inclusive). and the.

provisions of section 56 with regard 10 the repeal of the Employ ment

Se rvice Act (Cap. 14]) in SO far as it effects registrat ion and refcrral fo r

e mployment under the SlIid Employment SC .... ·;re Act (Cap. 141) and in

so far lIS it repeals section 17 of the said Employment Service Act (Ca p.

141 ). ,h ul l co me into force.
