IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Immovable

Property (Acqu isition by Non-Residents) Act , 1974. the Minister of

Finance has made the following Order:-

( I) This Orde r may be- cited as the Immovable Propc:rty

(Acquisition by Non· Residents) (Value of Immovables) Order. 1990.

(2) This Order shal1 come into force o n 1st August . 1990.

For the purpose of paragraph (b) of the proviso to subsection

( I) of section 5 of the Immovable Propc:rty (Acq uisi tion by Non-

Residents) Act. 1974. the value of imll1O\lable prope rty re ferred to in

the said paragraph and in relat ion to which the Ministe r shall not

wi thhold his pcnnission is being esta blished at LmI5.<Ol.
