IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragrap h (a) of subsect ion

(2) o f seclion 1 of the Public Lollo (Amendment) Act, ]99(1, the

Minister of Finance has appointed the 2Jrd July, ]990 as the dale when

the provisions of su bparagraphs (i) and (ii) o f paragraph (a) of se<;lio n 2,

and of seclions J and 5 of the said Act shall come into force as applying

10 Ihe 10110 draw of the 28lh July , 1990 and 10 subsequent draws in all

areas and 10110 offlceS in Malta a nd Gozo.
