Motor Vehkle5 (Amendment) Regulations , 1990

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Traffic

Regul ation Ordinance and by section 2.8 of the Public Transport

Authority Act , 1989, the Prime Mini ster has made the following

regu lations: -

(I) These regulatioru; may be dted as the Motor Vehicle$

(Am endme nt) Regulations, 1990, and shall be rcad and construed as

onc with the Motor Vehicles Regu lations, 1948, hereinafte r referred G."'. :u

to as ~the pri ncipal regulations-.

(2) These regulations shaD be deemed to ha ... e come into

force as follows

(i)

this regulation on the 21st May , 1990;

(ii) paragraphs (a), (b), (c) . (d) and (h) of regula tion 2 on

the 21st May, 1990; and

(Hi) paragraphs (e), (f), (g) and (i) of regulation 2 on the

18th June. 1990.

Paragraph (2) of regulation 182 of the principal regulations

shall be amended as follows

(a) for No. of Rou te 3 there shall be substituted the

following

"3 Vallena 10 Senglea (via Fgura) and ... ice· ... ersa~;

(b) for No. of Route 13 there shall be substituted the

following

(c) for No. of Route 42 there shall be substitut ed the

following
