made the following regulat iolls:-

I. These regulations may be ciled as the Sale of Commodities

(Com rol) (Amendment) Regulations, 1989. and shall be rcad and

construed as one with the Sale of Commoditic$ (Coll1rol) Regulations

1972. hereinafter referred 10 as "the principal rc:gulations- .

as the Director may specify. in suell form and witll;n such time as he

may lip«ify in the requcst .

(2) Any tradcr wllo fails to make such return . or to

furnish such informat ion ordocumC'nts. or woo makcs the teturnor

furnis hes the information or documents after th e lapse of the

specifi ed tim e. or who in making such return or in furnishing such

information or documents givC'S any information ",hich is incorrect

or misleading. shall be guilty of an offence against these

reguI3lions." .
