I N exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section 1 of

the Public Transport AuthOl'iI), Act, 1989, the Prime Mini~er has

designated the 17th day of April, 1989, as the dale on which all the

provisions of the said Act , other than the provis>ons of sections 15,27

and 29. shall come into force.
