IN exercise of tile powen con ferred by ~etio n 2611 of the Civil

Code, the Deputy Prime Ministe r and Minister of the InleriQr and

J ustice. with the ooncuITCoce o f the Mi nister of Fi nance, has made t he

followi ng regul ations:-

I. (I ) These regul ations may be ci ted as Ihe Civil Code

( Amc ndmcm of Part I of Schedule) Regulations. 1989 and shall be read

and construed as one wilh the Civil Code. he reinafter refe rred 10 as ~lhe

principal Code",

(2) These regulatio ns shall come in to fo rce on th e 1st day of

January. 1990.

Part I of the Schedule to the principal Code shall be amended

as follows: -

(3) in item 5 thereof, for tile figure "IOc" t!lert shall be
