STATUTE AMENDING STATUTE J OF TlU;

UN IVERSITY OF MALTA

IN e xe rcise oflhe powers conferred upon him by sections 28(5) and

29(6) of the Education Act. 1988. the Chancellor of the Uni'-ersity o f

Malta has promulga ted the following statute made by the Council of the

U niversi ty of Ma lt a in viRue of the powers conferred upon il by section

3 I of the said Act.

Citation

This Statute may be ci ted as the Statute Amending Statute 3 of tile

University of Malt a a nd shall he read and oonslrucd as o ne wilh the

StatU!es of the University o f Malta included in Schedule III of the

Education Act. 1988.

Statute J - COURSES OF STUDIES , DEGRE ES AND

DIST INCI'IONS as ame nded by L~gal Notice 98 of 1988 is funher

ame nded as follows

In Paragraph 3.1 sub-paragraph I

(a) at the end of the pan with sub·heading " Faculty of

Education" there be inserted a new line : "Diplo ma in EduCllt ion

for Children with Spedal Needs";

(b) al the end of the part with sub-heading " Facult y of

Science" there shall be inserted a new linwe: " Higher Diploma!

D.Sc. Pass Degree";

Care" there shall be inse ned the words
