The Instilute shall ha'"e a Director and Staff.

4. 1 The Directo r shall be appointed by Ihe Council of Ihe

Universi ty for a period of th ree years fo ll owing a call for application s.

4.2 Academic and other member of staff shall be appointed by the

Cou nci l on the recommendations of the: Board

S. The FillaTlCt Officer of the Unive rsi ty of Malta will be

Treasu rer of the Insti tute. The Director will prepare the annual budget

of the Institute and sub mitt il to the Boa rd for approval. lbe Director

will a lso submit a financial statement and an a nn ual report on the

activiti es of the Institute ,
