Police Licences (A mendment) Regulations, 11188

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sect ion 3 of the Police

Licences Act. 1949. th e Deputy Prime Mini ster and Mini ste r o f the

Inte rior and Jllslice. wi t h the concurrence of the Minis1er of Finance.

has made the following regulation s: -

I . These regulations may be cited as the Police Licences

(Amendment) Regulations. 1988. and shall be read and construed as

onc with 1he I'olice Licences Regulations. 1949. herein~fter referred to

as "the principal regulations".

In i1em 92 of the First Schedule to the principal regulations. for

item 21 of Calegory 2 refcrring to trading licences. there shall be

substituted the following

"21 _ Any OIher obj ect not specifica lly provided for. which in

the opinion of the Commissioner of Police . should properly be

classified under this category. induding the issue of a special

licence in terms of paragraph (SA) of regulation 51 of the Motor

Vehicles Regulations. 1948.··.
