Hotel s and Catering Establishments (Am endment) Regulations, 1988

IN exercise orlhe powers conferred by section 15 of the Hotels and

Calering Establishments Act. 1967, the Minister {or Development of

TCrliary Sector has made the following rcgulations:-

I. These regulations may be ci ted as the Hotels and Catering Es-

tablishments (Amendment) Regula tions, 1988, and shall be read and

construed as one with the Hotels and Cateri ng EstabliShments Regula·

lions, 1972 . hereinafter referred to as "the pri ncipal regula tions",

ImmediaTely after paragrap h (2) of regulation 8 of the principal

regulations there shall be added the following new paragraph

"(3) The Board may, subject to the written app roval of the

Minister and by notice published in Ihe Gazelle, also fix the

maximum prices of any alcohol ic and non alcoholic beverages that

may be charged by any hotel , holiday comple x, hostel , or catering

establhhmenl in relation 10 each class, ",
