Hone-Drawn Vehicles (Tariff of Fares) Regulations. 1\188

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section 93

oftlte Code of Police Laws, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister fOT

Internal Affairs and J ustice. with the concurrence of Ihe Minister of

Finance, has made the following regulations:-

I . These regulations may be cited as the Horse-Drawn Veh.icles

(Tariff of Fares) Regulations. 1988.

Licensed horse-drawn ~ebjc1es ( ltarrouini) shall be hired by

The following fa res shall be charged by time for the hiring of a

horse-draw n cab pe r trip

Minimum fare (cove ring the first half-hour or

For eaeh subsequent half-hour or part thereof

The tenn ~ trip" means the tran.iportation of a number of

passengers not c ~ceeding four in number on an e~eursion or from one

destination to another

Provided tha t for the purposes of this regulation, two children

between the ages of three and ten yeaf$ shall be considered as one

person.

S. The driver of each horse-drawn cab shall post up a copy of the

Tariff of Fares in his vch icle in a place where it is accessible to the

passengers.
