Pori (Passenger Servict> Charge) (Amendment) ReguLations, 1981:1

IN exercise of Ihe powers conferred by seclion 2 of the Fees

Ordinance, the Min ister for Oevelopment of Tertiary SeClor, wi lh Ihe

concurrence of the MiniSler of Finance, has made Ihe following

rcgu lations: -

I. (I) These regulations may be cited as (he Port (Par.sengcr

Service Charge) (Amendment) RegulatKlOs. 1988. and shall be read and

construed as onc with the Port (Passenger Service Charge) Regulations.

1985, hereinafter referred to as "'the principa l regul alions'·.

(2) These regulations sha ll come into force on the 1st May.

Regulat;on 2 of Ihe principal regulations shall be amended as

follows: -

(a ) in paragraph (b) thereof. for Ihe words "on a cruise .. '

{here sha ll be subsl;tuled Ihe word~ "on a cruise:": and

(b) at the cnd the reof Ihere shall be added Ihe following new

paragraph

"(c) a passenger who has arrived in Malta on a ship and

departs from Malta on a ship on the same day of arrivaL··.

In regulation 3 of the principal regulalions. for the words "a fee

of Lm 2" the re shall be subslituted Ihe words "a ree of Lm4··.
