Airport (passenger ~rvlct Charge) (Amendment) Regulations, 1988

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of Ihe Fees

Ordinance, the Prime Mi nister has made the following regu lations:-

I. (I) These regulations maybe citedas the Airport ( Passenger

Service Charge ) (A mendment) Regul ations. \988, and ~h al1 be read

and construed as one with the Airport (Passenger Service Charge)

Regulations, 1980. hereinafter referred 10 as ~Ihe principal

regulations" .

Th ese regulations shall come into force on the 1st May ,

1988.

Regulation 3 of the principa l regulations shall be amended as

follows:-

(a)

For the figure "Lm2" th erein, there ~hall be substituted

the figure " Lm4"; and

(b) immediately at the end the reof, there shall be added the

following proviso

" Provided that uptothe 31st October, 1988, there shall be

payable Lm2 of the said fee to the Director of Civil Aviation by

the aircraft owner or the aircraft operator, and Lm2 on

dem and to the Director of Civil Aviation by the departing

passenger .".
