On~rseas Pu rttl Post (Rates of Postage) Regulations , 1987

IN exercise oflhc powers ~onferrcd by section 11 of the Post Office

Act , 1975, the Minister for Development of Infrastructure. with the

concurrence of the Minister of Finance, has made the fo llowing regula-

tions:-

These regulations may be cited as Ihe Overseas Parcel Post c;,.,;o" and

(Rates of Postage) Regulations, \987, and shall come into force on the C<HII "",,,,,,,men!.

1st January, 1988.

countries shown in the Fi rst Column o f the First Schedule hereto sha ll

be those shown in the Second and Third Columns of that Schedule.

(2) The ratcs of postage on parcels by Ai rmail 10 the oouo-

tries shown in the First Column of the Second Schedule hereto shaH be

those shown in the Second and Third Columns of that Schedule.

(3) The rates of postage on parcels sent hy Surface Air Lifted

to the countries shuwn in the First Culumn of the Third Schedule hereto

shaH be Ihoseshown in the Seeond and Third Columnsofthat Schedule.

J. The minimum size of parcels shall be 140mm x 90mm and the s .... o><I ";"glll.

maximum size shaH be I.OSm in length and 2m in length and girth com-

bined . The maxim um weight of each parcel to the countries shown in the

First Column of the First, Second and Third Schedules hereto shall be

lOkg unless o therwise indicated in the said Schedules.
