Security Act. 1987. the Mlllistcr for Social Pol icy ha, made the foll owing

regul ations

I. (I) TheM' regulations may be cited as the Children's

Allowances (Amendme m) Regulations. 1987. and shall be read and

constr ued as o nc with the Children's All owances Regulations 1987.

Thc>c regu lation, shall have effect as follows

(i) regulation 2 with effect from 1st Janu ary. [987: and

(ii) regulations3 and 4 wi!h effect from 41h J ul y. 1987.

In regulalion 3 of the principal regulalions the words "where

delch:d.

In rcgulation 8 of the prinejp~1 regulations for the words

" Director of Social Services" there shall be substituted the word

" Director"' .

In regulation 14 of the principal regulat ions for lh.: words
