QUALITY CONTROL (EXPORTS, IMPORTS AND

LOCAL GOODS) ACT, 1971

General Purpose Washing Powder (Amendment) Order, 1987

(Order No. M 9 of 1982)

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Quality

(Exports, Imports and Local Goods) Act, 1971, and in accordance with that

section, the Malta Board of Standards has made the following

order:―

This order may be cited as the General Purpose Washing

Powder (Amendment) Order, 1987, and shall be read and construed as

one with the General Purpose Washing Powder Order, 1982, (Order No.

M 9 of 1982), hereinafter referred to as “the principal order”.

For paragraph 5.1.1 of the principal order, there shall be sub-

stituted the following new paragraph

“5.1.1 the fact that the container holds general purpose washing

powder;”.

In paragraph 7.1 of the principal order for the words “in

B.S. 3762:1964” there shall be substituted the words “in B.S. 3762:last

edition”.
