IN exen:isc of the powen conferred by soction 15 of the

Door-ta-Doo r Salesmen Act, 1987, the Minister of Trade and Economic

Planning bas made the following regulatioos

I. These regulations may be cited as the Door-ta-Door Salesmen

(Licences) Regulations. 1987. and shall come into force on the

15th day of Mareh, 1987.

(J) A door-to·door salesman duly licenced in accordance Id<lltificaUOd 01

with the Door·ta-Door Salesmen Act, 1987. shall at all times during ..

which be is making use of such licence carry with him an identity

card which shall be issued by the Director of Trade.

(2) The identity card referred to in paragraph (I) of this

regulation shall be in the form as set out in Schedule II to these

regulations and shall be shown by the sale$man to the COnSUJ11et, at

the request of the latter.

salesmen shall be made to the Director of Trade on a form which shall lice...,.,.,

be obtained from the Director of Trade. and shall contain all the

particulars as stated in the said form. and be accompanied by all the

documents indkated on the form.

(]) Where after an iss ue or renewal of a licence 10 act as a

door-to-door salesman, there occurs a change in the particulll{S as set

out in the relative application form. the holder of the licence sball

forthwith notify the Director of Trade of the change in particulars.

(2) The Director of Trade may where applicable require the

holder of the licence 10 surrender his licence and identity card, and

shall note the change of particulars in the lioxncc and identity card of

the licensee. and return the SlIme to the liccnsee.
