IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 138 of the Social
&curity Act, 1987, the Minister of Labour and Social Services has
made the following order;~
This order may be cited as the Social Security (Extension)
Order. 1987.

The provisions of sections 19 and 30 (insofar as it applies to
Social Assistance) of the Social Security Act, 1987, shaH apply to
nationals o f the countries specified in the Schedule to this Order, such
coun tries be ing, together with Malta, parties to the European Conven-
tion on Social and Medical Assistance.
