SOCIAL SECURITY ACT , 1987

(ACT NO. X OF 1987)

Notj~ for the purposes of se<:tlon '}9

Date of commencement: 1st January, 1987

I. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 99 of the Social

Security Act, 1987. the Min is ter of Labour and Social Services has

specified the following institu tions for the purposes he reinafter stated,

that is to say:-

(a) l'Ias-5erh (excluding the T. B. wards the reof) and " H at·

Zmicn" Old People 's Home at Mtarfa, in Malta and the Geriatric

Wards of Craig Hospital in Gozo, for tile purposes of paragraph

(a) of subsection (1) of section 99 of the said Act; and

(b) Mount Carmel Hospital. Sir Pa ul Boffa Hospi tal. SI

Luke 's Hospital, and the T,B. Ward s of " as·Serb, in Malta and

the Chambrai Hospital and Craig Hospital (excluding the Geriatric

Wards the reof) in Gozo, for the purposes of paragraph (b) of

subsection (I) of section 99 of the said Act.

The notice for th e purposes of sections 33A a nd 99 of the
