Public Registry (Duplicate Notes) (Amendment) Regulations, 1986

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Public

Registry Act, The Senior Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice

and Parliamentary Affairs has made the following regulations:—

These regulations may be cited as the Public Registry (Dupli-

cate Notes) (Amendment) Regulations, 1986, and shall be read and

construed as one with the Public Registry (Duplicate Notes) Regulations,

1986, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

In paragraph (1) of regulation 4 of the principal regulations

for the words “by the Director of the Public Registry or by an Assistant

Director, and the Director or such Assistant Director” there shall be

substituted the words “by the Director of the Public Registry or by

an Assistant Director or an officer mentioned in subsection (3A) of

section 3 of the Public Registry Act, and the Director or such Assistant

Director of officer abovementioned”.
