Further Arrangements for the provision of Financial Assistanee

IN exercise of the powers C()nferred by section 3 of the Agricultural

a nd Fishing Industries (Financial Assistance) Act. 1956. the Minister of

Agricultu~ and F isheries with the IIpproval of the Deputy Prime Minis-

ter and Minister of Fi nance and Customs. has amended the Arrange..

ments for the provision of Financial Assistanee published by Legal

Notice No. 83 of 1981 of the 28th July. 1981. (hereinafter referred to as

··the principal Arrangements") as follows:-

For sub-paragraph (l) of paragraph I of the principal Arrange_

ments. there shall be substituted the followiog

'.(1) The Director of Agriculture and Fisheries. a representa-

tive of the Attorney General, a representative of the Secretary,

Ministry of Finance and Customs, a representative of the Cbainnan

of the Co-opemtives Board, an Assistant Head in the Department

of Agriculture and F isheries and two public officers. one performing

duties at the Ministry of Agricl!lmre and Fi sh~jes and oru: at the

GO"lO branch of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, both

appointed for Ib! purpose by the Minister of Agriculture and

Fisheries. shall constitute a Commission to consider applications

for financial assistance under the Ac!.".
