Housinl!: Authority (TraIWeT of Alilets) (No. 2) Order, 1986

IN uercise of the powers conferred by s«:lion 12 of the Housing

Authorily Act. 1976. the President of Malta has made the following

This order may be cited as the Housiog Authority (Transfer of

Assets) (No. 2) Order, 1986.

1. The property described in paragraph 4 of this order is hereby Specified

specified for the purposes of sectioo 12 of the Housing Authority Act. propeny.

1976.

The property specified in paragraph 2 of this order shaH be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the section

aforesaid with effect from the 11th J uly. 1986.

The property referred to in paragraph 2 of this order is the

following. that is to say

(a) The following land forming part of L-Iklin Government

Housing Estate, limits of Birkirkara

(i) An area of land oonsisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 1 to S having an area of appro,;j-

mately 1247 square metres. bounded on the South. East and

West by Government property;

(iD An area of land cousisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Pl Ot Nos. 6 to 8 having an area of approxi-

mately 630 square metres. bounded on the South by Govern-

ment property. on the East by property of the Housing

Authori ty and 00 the West by Government property;

(iii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 54 to 60 and 64 to 66 having an

area of approximately 2266 square metres. bounded on the

North and South by Go"emment property. on the East partly

by Government property and partly by property of Albert

MicaUef and 00. the West by Government property.

(b) An area of land forming part of the Bid.ebbuga (Phase III

Government Housing Estate, limits of Birl".ebbuga. consisting of the

plots in tile said Estate known as Plot Nos. I 10 4 ha~ing an area

of appro,;imately 768 square metres. bounded on the North, South,

East and West by Government property.

(cl An area of land forming part of the Dingli Government

Housing Estate. limits of Dingli. known as Plot No. 19, having an

area approximately of 172.7 square metres. bounded on the North"

West and South-ElIst by public road and North-East by property

of the Housing Authority.

(d) T b" following land forming pan of Dingli III Housing

Estate, limi ts of Dingli

(i) An area of land consisti ng of the plots in the 5aid

Estate known all Plot Nos. 136 to 145 having an area of 2062

square metres approximately. bounded on the North, South.

East and West by Government plOpecty;

Hi) An area of land consisting of the plots in the 5aid

Estate known as Plot NO$. 146 to 149. 151 to 154, 169, 171.

183 and 189 having an area o r approximately 2340 square

metres. bounded on tbe North. South, East and West by G0-

vernment propecty

(iii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 150. 155, 156. 157. 159. 160, 161,

162, 164, 166 and 167 having an area of approximately 2433

square metres, bounded on the Nonh, South. East and West

by Government property;

(iv) An area of land oonsUting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 168, 170 . 173 to 177 a nd 179 having

an area of approximately 183 1 square metres, bounded on the

North, South. East and West by Government property

(v) An area of land cousisting of the plots in the said

Eslale known as Plot Nos. 158, 163. 165, 172, 178, 180. 181,

182, 184 to 188, 190 to 192 having an area of approximately

3351 square metres. bounded 00 the North. South, East and

West by Government property.

(e) The following land forming pan of the Fgura Govern-

ment Housing Estate. limits of Fgum

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 41 and 42 h aving an area of appro-

ximately 255 sqUlTC metres, bounded on the Nonh by property

of Ff31~lS Benllett!, South nnd West by Gove rnment propert)·;

(ii) An area of land consisting of Ihe plots in the said

Estate known as P lot Nos. 60 and 6 1 having an area of appro-

rimately 369 square metres. rounded on the North partly by

property of the Housing Authority and partly by property of

Salvatore T ant!, on the South by Government property and on

the East partly by (JQvernmenl property and partly by property

of the Housing Autbority.

(f) An area of land forming pari of Ta' L-Istabar Govern-

ment Ha uliing Elitate_ limit1 of Qormi, mown as Plol Nos. 6 10 8

having an area of a pproximately 820 square metres. bounded on the

North. South-East and on the North-East by Government property.

(g) An aNa of land forming pact of t he Nadur Housing

Estate, limits of Nadur. GO'LO. known as Plot No. 59 baving an area

of approximately 280 square metres. bounded on the North by

property of the Housing Authority, on the Soulh by Government

plOperty and on the W est by a public street.
