IN exercise of the power. conferred by section 39 of Ihe Enemalta
Act. 1977. Encmalta. wilh the approval of Ihe Minister of ParasTatal and
People's Inveslmenls. has made the following reguJations: -

In these regulations. unle.s Ihe contexl otherwise requirt:S _
" Corporation" mear.s the Euemalta Corporalion
"petrol stalion" means a slation which includes one or more
stand pumps from which petroleum products are offered for sale to
the public.
J. There shall be paid 10 Enema ila in respect of a licence referred
to in the first column of the Schedule hereto the fee speci fied in the
second column thereto.

In such licence Enemalta may impose
conditions aDd
limitations a~ it may deem appropriato.
II shall not be lawfu l for any person who holds such licence to of
transfer Ihe operation of Ihe licence or the licence itself. whether by sale, of (rao,l"
lease, lease of Ihe goodwill or by any other title. onerous or gratuitous,
or for any olher cause, without the prior pemli$Sion of Enemalta in
writing.
Where any person contr~ve nes any provisions of the last preced· S .... l"'n"""

of its products, as also \0 withdraw the licenc: forthwith.

OJ A licence may not be transfer,ed by the licensee withOl.lt the Tr..,.f"
prior approval of Enemalta and against the payment to il of the transfer of Iko.c<.
fee specified in Ihe Schedule to these regulations: Provided that the
said transfer fee shall nOI be payable where the tranferee is the husband
or wife or the brother or siSler or lhe first degrec descendanl or ascen·
dant iD the direct line of that lice nsee.
(2) Ap!llications to lhe Corporation for the transfer of a
licence are tu be signed jointly by the licence holder and by the person
10 whom il is desired 10 transfer such licence, and arC to include full
deta ils of the terms and conditions agreed to belween the two parties
ill respecl of the trarnfer.
9. Notwithstanding the provisions of regulation 8 of these regu· Puroh2>e

licence. and if such offer is not accepted the transfer of the licence may
be refU5C<l.
10, It shall be a condition of every licenCe that Ihe holder thereof
shall notify in writing, as earl y as po,siblc. the Corporation of any
cha nge in the place of business or other address of Ihe licensee.
11 · Item " D. Sale of Petroleum'" in the Schedule to the Petroleum
(Licence Fees) Regulations. 1978, is hereby repealed.
