PORTS ORDINANCE, 1961

IN e)lercise of the powers conferred by sections 25, 26 and 42 of the

Ports Ordinance, 1962, the Prime Minister ll~s made the follOWing

regulations:-

I. ! I) These regUlations may be ei led a5 the Pilotage and

Mooring (Amendment! R egulations, 1986, and shall be read and

I..N. 16J of 19H construed as one wilh the Pilot~ge and Mooring R egulations. 1975, here -

inafter refelTed to as "tbe principal regula tions".

These regula tions shall come into force on the l!it May.

1986. 1:.

Regulatioo 37 ol lhe principal regula tions shall be amended as

follows

(a) in sub-paragraph (a) of paragra ph (I) therwt for tbe words

" SO per cenlum" there shall be substitu ted the words "20 per

centu m";

(b) in su t>.para gra ph (b) of paragraph (]) thereof, for the

words " 50 per centum" there sball be substi tuted the words "SO per

centum"; and

(c) for p;aragraph t4A ) thereof there shall be substi tuted Ihis

followi ng

"(4A) Subject 10 the provisions of paragl1lph (4) of th

regulation there shaIl be paid out of the Pilot Launch Replace -

ment Fund the cost of new pilot launches.".

J. Immediately after regulation 37 of the principal regulations

there shall be added the following new regulalion:-
