FINANCIAL AmUNISTRATION AND AUDIT ACT, 1962

(ACT NO. I OF 1962)

Genera l Financial (Amendment) Regulations, 1985

IN clI:ercise of the powers conferred by subsection (1) of section 4

of the Financial Adm inistration a nd Audit Act. 1962. the Deputy

Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and OJstoms has made the

following regula tions: -

I. The"" regulation.. may be cited as thc General Financial

(Amendmcnt) Regulations. 1985. and shall be read and construed as

one with the General Financial Regulations. 1966. hereinafter referred LN. <10 of 1966

of storcs or other articles shall be sanctioned by the Scc:rclary

on the report of a Board of Survcy. which, unless otherwise

a pproved by the Secretary, or by the officer appointed by

the Minister for the purpose, shaH not include any memben

of the staff of the department concerned."; and

(b) in paragraph (2) thereof immediately after the word

"Secretary" there shall be added the words "or the officer a p-

Regulation 118 of the principal regulations shall be amended

as follows:—

(a) in paragraph (2) thereof immediately after the word

“Secretary” there shall be added the words “or the officer ap-

pointed by the Minister for the purpose”; and

(b) in sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (4) thereof immed-

iately after the word “Secretary” there shall be added the words

“or by such other officer as may be delegated by the Minister” .
