IN EXE RCISE of the powe rs conferred by subsection (2) of .section

66 o f the Medical and Kindred Professions Ordinance, the Minister of

Health. on the advice of the Nursi n8 a nd Midwifery Board has made the

following regula tio ns:-

I. These regula tions may be cited as the Register a nd Roll of

NUT$(ls (Special Parts) Regulations. 1984.

For the Register of Nurses there shall be special pans which

shall be desjg~ted as followl

(a) Register of Nurses qual ified in the nursing of patie nts

suffering from mental illness. (Registered Nul"$eS for the men tally

siclt;);

(bl Register of Nurses quolified in the nurs ing of mentally

handicapped pa tie nts. (R egistered Nurses for the Mentall y Hand i-

capped);

(c) Register of Nurses qua lified in the nursing o f siclt; children.

(Registered Nurses for sick c hildren).

For the Roll of Nurses there sha ll be special pa rts which shall

be designated as follows

(a) Roll of Nurses qualified in thc nursing of patients

suffering from mental illness. IEnrolled Nurses for the mentally sick);

(b) Roll of Nurses quali fied in the nursing of mentally hand i-

ca pped patients. (Enrolled Nu rses for the Men tally Hand icapped);

(c) Roll of Nurses quali fied in the nursing of sick chi ldren.

(Enrolled Nurses for sick children).
