Soft Drinks (Amendment) Regulations, 1984

Drugs and Drink ing Water Act. 1971 the Minister of Hcalm. OD the

advice: o f the Food Standa rds Board. has made the following regula-

lions: -

These regulations may be cited as the Soft Drinks (Amendment) Cita tion.

Regula tions. 1984 and shall be: read and construed as one wi th the Soft LN. tJ or

Drinks Regulations, 1918. hereinafter rderred to as "!he principal 1971

regulations",

J . Paragraph (3) of regula tion 5 of the principal regulations shall

be amended as follows

(a) immediately after !he words "or saccharine calcium" there rqulalion ...

followi ng proviso

" Provided thal where a soft drink contains aspa rtame

Schedules I to 4 10 Ihe principal regulati ons shall be amended

as follows
