LAND REGISTRATION ACT, 1981

(ACT NO. XXXV OF 1981)

Declaration of Certain Rights (Burthens for Masses)

(Amendment) Order, 1983

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 14B of the

Land Registration Act, 1981, the Senior Deputy Prime Minister and

Minister of Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has made the following

order:-

l. This Order may be cited as the Declaration of Certain Rights

(Burthens for Mass·es) (Amendment) Order, 1983, and shall be read and

construed as one with the Declaration of Certain Rights (Burthens for

L.N. 36 of 1983 Masses) Order, 1983, hereinafter referred to as "the principal order".

Reg. 2 Amends article 3 of the ppincipal order. — Declaration of Certain Rights (Burthens for Masses) Open official source

In paragraph (l) of a:rticle 3 of the principal order, for the

words "subject to a burthen, or in fa vour of whom on such da te" there

shall be substituted the words "subject to a burthen, shall declare such

burthen to the Land Registrar not later than the 20th January, 1984,

and any person in favour of whom on 15th July, 1983".
