LAND REGISTRATION ACT, 1981

(ACT NO. XXXV OF 1981)

Compulsory Registration (Cħurcħ Pl'operty) (Amendment) Order, 1983

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 14A of the

Land Registra tion Act, 1981, the Senior Deputy Prime Minister and

Minister of Justice and Pa r1iamentary Affairs has made the following

order: -

l. This order may be cited as the Compulsory Registration

(Church Property) (Amendmentl Order, 1983, and shall be read and

construed as one with the Compulsory Registration (Church Property)

Order, 1983, hereinafter referred to as "the principal order".

Article 3 of the principal order shall be amended as follows: -

Reg. 2 Amends article 3 of the principal order. — Compulsory Registration (Cħurcħ Pl'operty) (Amendment) Order, 1983 Open official source

(a) in paragraph (l) thereof, the words "and all titles to land

subject to a burthen on the com ing into force of this Order" shall

be deleted; and

(b) in paragraph (2) thereof, the words " and all titles to land

which may become subject to a burthen after the coming into force

of this Order," and "or on which such burthen is imposed" shaH

be deleted.
