Armed Forces of Malta (Assignment of Powers)

(Amendment) Order, 1983

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Malta

Armed Forces Act, 1970, the President of Malta has made the following

order:-

l. This order may be cited as the Armed Forces of Malta

(Assignment of Powers) (Amendment) Order, 1983, and shal1 be read

and construed as one with the Armed Forces of Malta (Assignment of

Powers) Order, 1980, hereinafter referred to as "the principal order".

For the words "a fourteen month engagement" in artic1e 3 of

the principal order, there shaH be substituted the words "a fourteen or

eighteen month engagement".
