Telephone Service (Amendment) Regulations, 1983

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Telemalta

Corporation Act, 1975, the Board, with the approval of the Minister of

Parastatal and People's Investments, has made the following regula-

tions:-

These regulations may be cited as the Telephone Service

(Amendment) Regulations, 1983, and shall be read and construed as

one with the Telephone Service Regulations, 1972, hereinafter referred

to as "the principal regulations".

For paragraph 4 of the Third Schedule to the principal regula-

tions there shall be substituted the following

"4.

(a)

Barring of automatic overseas cans -

on each external extension

(b) De-barring of exchange line or of

external extension within a period of two years

from the date such line/extension was barred ...
