Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 2) Order, 1983

IN exercise O'f the pO'wers cO'nferred by section 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, 1976, the President of Malta has made the following

order:-

l. This order may be cited as the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) (No. 2) Order, 1983.

The property described in paragraph 4 of this O'rder is, hereby

specified for the purposes of section 12 of the HO'using Authority Act,

1976.

The property specified in paragraph 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the section

afO'resaid with effect from the 8th July, 1983.

The property referred to in paragraph 2 O'f tħis order is the

follO'wing, that is tO' say

(a) The foIlowing land forming part of the Iklin Govern-

ment Housing Estate, Birkirkara

(i) An area of land consisting of a plot in the said

estate known as Plot No. 9 having an area of approximately

186 square metres bounded on the South by Governrnent prO'-

perty and O'n the East and West by prO'perty O'f the Housing

Authority;

(iD An area of land having an area of apprO'ximately

246 square metres which area is to be additional to PIO't No. 16

bounded on the South and East by GO'vernment prO'perty and

on the West by property of the Housing Authority;

(jii) . An area of land having an area of apprO'ximately

184 square metres which area is to be additiO'nal tO' Plot NO'. 17

bounded O'n the South-Wes.t and West by Govemment property

and on the East by property O'f the Housing Authority;

(iv) An area of land consisting of the pIots in the said

estate known as PIot Nos. 42 to 49, 50 to 53 and 67 to 70

having an area O'f approximately 4661 square metres bounded

on the South, East and West by Government property and on

the North by prO'perty of the Housing Authority;

(v) An area of land consisting of the pIots in the said

estate known as Plot N os. 20 to 29, 121 to 127 and 142 having

an area of approximately 5370 square metres bounded on the

West by Government property, on the North and South by

property of the Housing Authority and on the East partly by

a public road and partly by property of the Housing Authority;

(vi) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

estate known as Plot Nos. 62 and 63 having an area of

approximately 723 square metres bounded on the North. East

and South-East by Government property;

(vii) An area of land having an area of approximately

106 square metres which area is to be additional to Plot No. 71

bounded on the North, South and West by Government pro-

perty and on the East by property of the Housing Authority;

(viii) An area of land having an area of approximately

123 square' metres which area is tobe additional to PlQot No. 73

bQounded Qon the NQorth, SQouth and East by Government pro-

perty and on the West by property of the Housing AuthQority;

(ix) An area of land having an area of approximately

134 square metres which area is to be additional to Plot Nos.

84 and 85 bounded Qon the North by Government property

and on the South and East by property of the Housing Autho-

rity;

(x) An area of land having an area of approximately

U2 square metres which area is'to be additional to Plot Nos.

86 and 87 bounded on the South and West by Govemment

property and on the North and East by property of the Hous-

ing Authority;

(xi) An area of land having an area of approximately

40 square metres which area is to be additional to Plot No. 101

bounded on the North-East, South-East and Eist by Govern-

ment property and on the West by property of the Housing

Authority;

(xii) An area of land having an area of approximately

50 sqllare metres which area is to be additional to Plot No. 102

bounded on the South and East by Government property and

on the North and West by property of the Housing Authority;

(xiii) An area of hllldhaving an area of approximately

78 square metres which area is to be additional to Plot No. 111

bounded on the North by Government property, on the South

and West by property of the Housing Authority and on the

East by a public road;

(xiv) All. area of land having an area of approximately

63 square metres which area is to be additional to Plot No. 118

bounded on the North, South and West by Government pro-

perty and on theEast by property of the Housing Authority;

(xv) An area , of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 143 to 151 and 153 to 165 having an

area of approxirnately 6107 square metres bounded on the

Nbtth~West, North-East,

South and ,South-Bast by Govern-

ment" property.

(b) The following land forming part of the Ta' Farżina

Government Housing Estate; Qormi: '

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos.39, 40 and 71 to 75 having an are,i,

of approximately 1985 square metres bounded on the North ,

South, East and West by Government property;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plot Nos. 59 and 60 having an area of appro-

ximately 437 square metres bounded on the North. SOuth and

East by Government property;

(Hi) An area of land :consis.ting of the plots in the said

Estate knownas PlorNos. 62 to 65havingail area of appro-

ximately 1053 square metres bounded on the North, South,

West and South-East by Government property;

(iv) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 66 having an area of approximately

483 square metres bounded on the North, South, West and

South-East by Government property;

(v) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estatc known as Plot No. 67 having an area of approximately

211 square metres bounded on the North, South, Bast and West

by Government property;

(vi) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 68 having an area of approximately

223 square metres bounded on the North, South, Bast and West

by Government property;

(vii) An area of land consisting of the piot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 69 having an area of approximately

223 square metres bounded on the North, South, Bast and West

by Gavernment property.

An area of land forming part of the żabbar Government

Housing Estate consisting of the plot in the said Bstate known as

Plot No. t 00 having an area of approximately 160 square metres

bounded on the North by a public passage, on the South by Govern-

ment property, on the Bast by property of Giljan Marmara and on

the West by property of Victor Ebejer.

(d) The following land forming part of the Government Hous-

ing Estate, Sannat, Gozo:-

(i) An area of land ha ving an area of approximately 111

square metres which area is to be additional to Plot Nos. 32 to

36 bounded on the North, South and South-West by Govern-

ment property;

(ii) An area of land having an area of approximately 157

square metres which area is to be additiona1 to Plot Nos. l and

13 to 16 bounded on the North, South, South-Bast and South-

West by Government property.

(e) House numbered 77, Government Housing Estate, Dingli.

({) House numbered 27, Govemment Housing Estate. Marsa-

xlokk.

(g) Houses numbered 2 L and 25, Government Housing
