WATER SUPPLY ORDINANCE (CAP. 36)

Water Supply (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1983

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Water

Supply Ordinance, the Minister of WOl"ks, with the concurrence of the

Minister of Finance, has made the following regulations:-

These regulations may be citedas the Water Supply (Am~I.1d

ment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1983 and shall be read and construed as orie

with the Water Supply Regulations, 1948,hereinaf.ter referred to as "the

pr,incipal regulations".

Immediate1y after regulation 16 of the principal regulations

there shall be inserted the following new regulation

"17. The Water Authority shall charge for supplies of treated

sewage to potential1y irrigable land · the rate of Lm36 per hectare

per annum.".
