PUBLIC LOTTO ORDINANCE (CAP. 110)

Lotto (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1983

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Public

Lotto Ordinance, the Minister of Finance bas made the following

regulations:-

l. These regulations may be cited as the Lotto (Amendment)

(No. 2) Regulations, 1983, and shall be read and construed as one with

the Lotto Regulations, 1948. herei:o.after referred to as "the principal

regulations" .

hom jinqraw u jiftiehmu ħaġa waħda mar-Regolamenti tal-Lottu, 1948, G.N. 222 ta'

hawnhekk iżjed 'il quddiem imsejħa "ir-regolamenti prinċipali".

For the words "one hundred thousand pounds (f.100.000)" in

paragraph (1) of regulation 5 of the principal regulations and for the

figure "f100,OOO" in the proviso to the said paragraph, there shall be

substituted respectively the words "one hundred and twenty thousand

pounds (Lm120,000)" and the figure "Lml 20,000".
