FEES ORDINANCE (CAP. 58)

Fees (Passport) (Amendment) Regulations, 1983

IN exercise of the powers conferre.d, by section 2 of the Fees Ordin-

ance, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the con'currence' of the

Minister of Finance, has made the following regulations:-

l. These regulations, may be cited as the' Fees (Passport) (Amend-

ment) Regulations, 1983, and shall be read and construed as one with

the Fees . (Passport) Regulations, 1965, nereinafter referred tO' as "the

prih'cipal regulatiohs".

The Schedule to the principal regulations shall be amended as

follhws

(a)' immediateJy after item l thereof there shall be addecl the

foHovving proviso

"Provided that if the application for such issue is not

made within such time as may be specified by the Passport

Officer, the fee for the issue shall be Lm4."; and

(b) irnmediately after item 2 thereof there shall be added the

foUO'wing pro\riso

"Provided that if the application for such renewal is not

made with'in such tiriJ.e as ma1 be specified by the Passport

Officer, the fee fOi( the renewal shall be Lm3,".
