TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDINANCE (CAP. 105)

Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Regulations, 1983

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Traffic

Regulation Ordinance, the Commissioner of Police, with the advice of

the Traffic Control Board, has made the foHowing regulations:-

These regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Amend-

ment) Regulations, 1983, and shaH be read and construed as one with

the Motor Vehicles Regulations, 1948, hereinafter referred to as "the

principal regulations".

Immediately after paragraph (2) of regulation 58A of the prin-

cipal regulations there shaH be added the folIowing new paragraph

regulations. . .

"(3) No person shaH drive any motor vehicle whilst wearing

or using headphones or any other similar device which hinders or

is 1ike1y to hinder him from hearing properly.".
