Mdina (Restricticn of access and transit of vehicles) Regulations, 1982

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 81 of the Code

of Police Laws and by section 16 of the Traffic Regulation Ordinance

the Commissioner of Police, with the advice of the Traffic Control

Board, has made the following regulations

These regulations may be cited as the Mdina (Restriction of

access and transit of vehides) Regulations, 1982 and shaH come into

force on the f1l"st day of January, 1983.

No vehicle shaH have access to any street or square in side

Mdina nor circulate within that city at any time

Provided that vehic1es licensed in the name of residents of

Mdina shaH be allowed such access and may circulate within that

city between the hours of 8.00 p.m. and 8.00 a.m. of the next morning

Provided further that ambulances, fire fighting vehicles and

police vehicles shaH have complete access and transit therein at all

times.
