Sale of Commodities (Control) (Amendment) (No. 2)

Regulations, 1982

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Supplies

and Services Act, 1947, the Minister of Economic Development has

made the foIlowing regulations:-

l. These regulations may be cited as the Sale of Commodities

(Control) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1982, and shall be read and

construed as one with the Sale of Commodities (Control) Regulations,

1972, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar il-Kontroll tal-Bejgħ ta' Oġġetti (Emenda A.L. 21 ta'

Nru. 2) u għandhom jinqraw u jiftiehmu ħaġa waħda mar-Regolamenti 1-1972

ta' 1-1972 dwar il-Kontroll tal-Bejgħ ta' Oġġetti, hawnhekk iżjed 'i1 qud-

diem imsejħa "ir-regolamenti prinċipali".

For sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (3) of regulation 3 of the

principal regulations there shall be substituted the following

"(i) the profit of the importer shall be calculated on the

aggregate of the C.LF. value and import duty of the commodity,

and no further addition, such as charges for landing, transport.

storage. interest or any other charge whatsoever, shall be made for

the purpose of ascertaining the cost, and".
