Travel Agencies and Hotel Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1982

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 14 of the

Travel Agencies and Hotel Services Act, 1976, the Minister of

Tourism has made the following regulations:-

l. These regulations may be cited as the Travel Agencies and

Hotel Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1982, and shall be read

and construed as one with the Travel Agencies and Hotel Services

Regulations, 1980, hereinafter referred to as "the principal

regulations" .

The First Schedule to the principal regulations shall be

amended as follows

(a) in paragraph 2 thereof headed "Part II - Particulars

of Applicant", immediately after item (vii) there shall be inserted

the following

* Certificates to be attached";

(b) sub-paragraph (i i) of paragraph 3 thereof headed "Part

III -

Other Particulars" shaH be amended as follows

(i) item (c) thereof shaH be re-numbered (e); and

(ii) immediately after item (b) thereof there shaH be

inserted the following new items

"(c) Potential estimation of incoming tourists per

year ..... ............... ..... .................. ........ .. .

(d) Potential estimation of outgoing tourists

per year .... .. ......... ... .. .. .. .. ................ ...... "; and

(c) in paragraph 5 thereof headed "Part IV - Dec1aration

by App1icant", immediately at the end of the Dec1aration and

before the Date and the Signature of Applicant there shall be

inserted the fol1owing

"My!my principal's Conduct Certificate issued by the

Police is herewith attached.".
