Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) Order, 1982

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, 1976, the President of Malta has made the foIIowing

order:-

l . This order may be cited as the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) Order, 1982.

The property described in paragraph 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purposes of section 12 of the Housing Authority Act,

1976.

The property specified in paragraph 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the section

aforesaid with effect from the 26th day of January, 1982.

The property referred to in paragraph 2 of this order is the fol-

lowing, that is to say

(a) The folIowing land forming part of the F1eur-de-Lys

Government Housing Estate, limits of Qormi

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 33, 34, 49 and 50 having an area

of approximately 1082 square metres bounded on the North.

South and West by Government property;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

estate known as Plots Nos 67 to 70 and 72 to 74 having an

area of approximately 1721 square metres bounded on the

North, East and West by Government property.

(b) An area of land forming part of the Marsaxlokk Govern-

ment Housing Estate, consisting of the plots in the said Estate

known as Plots Nos 105 to 110 having an area of approximate1y

1918 square metres bounded on the South-East, East and West by

Government property.

(c) An area of land forming part of the Tarxien Government

Housing Estate, consisting of the plots in the said Estate known as

Plots Nos 27 to 37 having an area of approximately 3566 square

metres, bounded on the North by a public road and on the South,

East and West by Government property.

(d) An area of land forming par t of the Ta' Giorni Govern-

ment Housing Estate, limits of St Julian's, consisting of the plots

in the said estate known as Plots Nos. 24 to 43 having an area of

approximately 8850 square metres bounded on the North, South,

Bast and West by Government property.

(e) The fol1owing land forming part of the Bulebel iż-żgħir

Govemment Housing Estate, limits of żabbar

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos 87 to 103 and 110 to 119 having an

area of approximately 7443 square metres bounded on the

North, South, East and West by Govemment property;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate 1cnown as Plots Nos 82 to 86 having an area of approxi-

mately 959 square metres bounded on the North-West, South-

East, North-East and South-West by Govemment property.

(f) An area of land forming part of the Sannat Govemment

Housing Estate, Gozo, consisting of the plots in the said Estate

known as Plots Nos. 1 to 44 having an area of approximately 11863

square metres bounded on the South and East by Govemment

property and on the West by a public lane.

(g) House numbered 7, Row E 3, Ta' Paris Government

Housing Estate, Birkirkara.

(h) FIat numbered 11, Block B, Door 2, Government Housing

Estate, Lija.
